New year, new blog host and platform

A few months ago I was putzing around the internet and ran into this kickstarter for Ghost. I'm not big into throwing my money into kickstarters (although there have been a few I have been really intrigued by) but I liked the video and I liked the creater and so I gave them my £20 and hoped that one day I would be able to use it properly without too much fuss.

Today is that day! While I was given access to use Ghost ages ago, I wasn't fully using it until now. Bub took some time to sort a few things out on the technical end -- migration from Word Press, integration of Disqus and Cloudinary, the ins and outs of the theme -- and now I have a new blog on a new platform. I'm a little bit excited.

Does this mean I'll post more? Probably not, although I'll try. Does this mean that I'm happier with how this looks and functions on my end meaning I might post more? Absolutely! Let's stick to this story right here and see what happens.

Right now my mom and dad are here in Ireland to celebrate the holidays with us. We'll be doing the Christmas thing, touring the Butler's chocolate factory (who knew that was a possibility?), eating pretzel m&ms and hopefully living it up in the warm weather that is bound to come this way (fingers crossed).

I hope you and yours have a very merry Christmas and I will see you in the new year.

Hopefully. Maybe. We'll see. No pressure.
